Is Roudio free?
Yes. Signing up, organising outings and taking part are free. Premium, paid with Roud, lets you welcome more people and post more photos.
Can I go out with people I don't know?
Yes. The organiser can open their outing to new people and, if they wish, set criteria (age, gender, interests) or accept and decline each request themselves. They can also keep it for their friends only.
How do I know who I'm going out with?
Before joining, you can look at each member's profile: reviews left by participants of their past outings and their reliability (outings held, attendance confirmed), so you can make up your own mind. You can also block a member and report a message or photo to the moderators. As with any meeting, stay careful: choose public places and let someone close to you know.
Who can see my personal information?
Nobody: only your username is visible. Your name, email, phone number and date of birth stay private, and you can hide your age.
I have no idea for an outing, what can I do?
On the “Explore” page, Roudio suggests lots of places near you: restaurants, bowling alleys, cinemas, hikes, escape games… You can also click “Join in” to say what you fancy, and organisers will be able to invite you.
How do I choose the date of an outing?
Your choice: set the date of your outing directly, or suggest several dates and let participants vote for the ones that suit them, then confirm the chosen date. It is then added to everyone's calendar.
How do we get organised before the outing?
Each outing has its own chat to get organised. The organiser can also set a meeting point on the map, and participants with a vehicle can offer car sharing.
What happens after the outing?
You share your photos, leave a review of the outing, the venue and the other participants, and you can get Roud.
Can I get perks?
Yes! By taking part in Roudio's community (organising outings, inviting new members, leaving reviews or funding the site's development and servers), you earn Roud that unlock perks: going Premium (more participants and photos), featuring your outing or growing your popularity.
Is there a mobile app?
It's coming soon on Android and iPhone, with the same account as on the website.
I run a venue, how can I appear on Roudio?
Register or claim your venue from the Offers page. Once approved, you can publish offers with places reserved for Roudio outings.
How old do I need to be?
Roudio is for adults only: you must be at least 18 to sign up.
